I wouldn’t be surprised if Dubas was working on the phones too. After seeing how destructive the Leafs offense is even without Nylander you gotta at least see what’s available out there on D.

I think if bolded was the offer, Nylander would have signed...the fact he didn't, I would believe is because both the money and the term are far from what you propose.

What is so wrong with a lifelong fan who had patiently waited almost 45 years wanting the team to properly build itself? Why does that make me biased? It's called common sense and the desire to win... and not just have a single shot at it.

Hes been there from the start of the rebuild and everybody who can do the math can see that hes the odd man out probably for a defender, thought back in july that its happening in 1-2 years.

If he signs a team friendly deal, there is absolutely no reason for the Leafs to trade Nylander.... they’d be much quicker to unload Kadri, Marleau, Or depth peices for defensive prospects...

Andersen will be fine. He starts every year like this. Sparks...I don't have much faith in.

Pastrnak is a tier above Nylander IMO...

Today he is, but Pastas contract was build on 1 elite season, Nylander has had more high end offensive seasons at the time of signing and that's 2 extra years.

By your comment it sounds like Leafs want to sign him at the low end of all these kids.
