UFA status is achieved when a player accrues 7 pro seasons or turns 27 whichever comes first. Beauvillier has played 5 seasons already so he would be a UFA in 2023.

For a .5ppg player, who has stones for the playoffs, this is a solid deal. I think he will earn his next, bigger contract over the next 2 years. I'm happy with this.

No complaint on this deal. Gives Isles a top 6 fwd for a moderate 4.15M per in their 3 year contending window. He has scored some big goals for the Isles in the playoffs, Isles need that type of contribution when scoring is harder to offset their stingy defence.
