Injuries destroyed him. Likely an AHL voice in the room. I wouldn't expect to see him play many games.

I hope Cory can turn it around, but as soon as the hips start to go it’s usually over for a goalie

Not that I'm a huge Islanders fan or anything, but I hope he comes back and dominates. He was great in Vancouver, and I'd love to see that from him again, even if it's not here.

friedman was mentioning the teams are asking the league to carry an extra goalie in the same vein as the taxi squad.

How will we ever see another David Ayres? If anything there should be limits on how many goalies a team can carry and a mandate that once those goalies are all injured the zamboni driver has to suit up.
