Faceoffs are only one aspect of the game of hockey but holy f*** could the team start wining more faceoffs? Just to confirm my suspicions I did some research and it was even worse than I thought. Dead last the previous two seasons. 45.1% in 22/23 and 46% in 21/22. Incredibly small sample size for this season but not a great start. Again, just one aspect of the game of hockey, however it is one aspect that is costing them goals and probably a couple losses per season.
