I'm really mad at the result, but this is a loss I can live with considering our roster.
First period was good, they got some bounces.
Second period was bad, and that's when we needed the pushback.
Third period was all us, but it was too late.
Reimer was the better goalie.

Game might have been different if coach didn't waste McDavid for the first two periods.

Holy **** you guys... As far as nurse new, it was a dirty play. He doesn't get to watch the 10 replays we saw.
He did the right thing, and anybody who says otherwise shouldn't be allowed to call this team soft ever again. It's plays like that that make people think twice about going into the corners with our guys.

No one expects the Oilers to even do anything if someone gets hurt so ofcourse Polak wasn't ready to fight

It has nothing to do with being a soft fanbase as the poster above said. It was a stupid time to pick a fight.
I've been a fan of his other fights, not so much this one.

Nurse is one of my favorites but that was thug-like. Reminds me of what Ference did to Stepniak .

good on Nurse, we all could see that Polak didn't do anything, but Nurse couldn't see the replay. Polak should have been prepared, ya he didn't do ****, but, again.....it looked bad from the bench I am sure.

Nurse doesn't have instant replays and sent breaking down the play in real time. He say Hendricks fly into the boards and get hurt, and polak get the penalty.
Kid did what he thought needed to be done.

weird game all in all.... we were the better team for a larger potion of the game than the sharks, yet they win by 3.... chances had to be something like 25-10 for us
kind of feel bad for polak to be honest... he actually didn't do anything to hendricks, gets a penalty, and then gets into a "fight" with nurse where his face is re-arranged.... gotta love nurse though, mean SOB who doesn't take crap from anybody.... he is going to get his one of these days, but you gotta love his attitude on the ice

One thing we have to realize with stuff like that is the players don't get shown tons of replays. They often only see the play happen live and make judgements from there.

Nurse didn't have the chance to watch multiple HD replays in slow mo from the bench. As far as he's concerned Polak did some dirty ****, and he responded. In that context he did the completely right thing.

yeah korp with mcdavid just doesn't make a lick of sense.... no idea why nurse would get suspended for that... fights happen, its not his fault polak didn't fight back

Didn't watch the third but saw the replays. 'Wahhhh Polak didn't do anything wrong WAHHHH' from the same people that do nothing but bash this team for being soft night in and night out. Boohoo. Better to be the boxer than the ****ing bag for once. React. Give a ****. Stand up for your teammates. Nurse did all that without the benefit of 10 replays from 5 different angles.
Game sucked, watched 1st and 2nd. Couldn't be bothered to watch the 3rd. Sharks are just a damn good team.
I mean, he probably did see a replay of it on the screen.
Whatever the case, kid's going to have to answer the bell next time these teams play. I'm not worried about him handling any fight, but you hope the Sharks don't respond to a dirty play in kind.

That was an unfortunate game. Poor start, the lines were clearly not meshing, and Mclellan waited until the game was long over to juggle them and give his team a boost
On a side note, looks like the Nurse thread on the main forums is going to be quite the train wreck
