Nurse/Ceci vs Myers/Cole

Thought it'd be fun to ask.

It's an eye test but it seems to me that most the goals and scoring chances are happening when Nurse/Ceci are on the ice. I also keep seeing Cole and Myers on the ice for a lot of Oiler chances and goals. I can't imagine that either fanbase loves these guys right now.

Purposely no third option of 'shoot them to the moon' or 'neither'.lol

Watching Ian Cole play these days gives me fond memories of his time on the Avs. Fond in the sense of "thank god that's in the past." Would take Nurse-Ceci rather easily (assuming we're not considering contracts).

Still Myers/Cole, the extra cap helps in other areas to make it to the playoffs. The gap between Nurse/Myers isn’t big and the gap between Ceci/Cole isn’t big

Perhaps in fantasy you're right. In real life however, there is no comparison. Two UFA journeymen are the "obvious answer", lol. I'm sure you would utilize that cap space to build a true contender!

I guess it really depends, cap flexibility is nice until Cole single handedly loses you a playoff series. But I guess having more cap is a nice consolation prize to winning games. There's no good answer unfortunately.
