I'm glad. I remember whenever Iginla got a new buzz in the middle of a slump, he'd go on a tear. He'd also tuck in his jersey in on the back and you knew **** was about to get real.

If* we insist on using Grossmann in the lineup though, I do think those are the ideal pairings. Grossmann - Dougie actually has a little bit of potential to deal some physicality, with decent passing.

FWIW, between Ferland and himself, it's more of a 2B line. Ferland is a 2nd liner IMO. Maybe Chiasson finds a fit with those two.

I assume he knows how to watch game tapes. Monahan was horrific in the last game. Most of his passes were either going to a Shark or no where a Flames could get to.

We might actually have the better team. Excited to see Johnny with Bennett and Brouwer, could be a really good mix. Monahan might benefit from being forced to be more of a driver, hopefully he responds.

It will be really interesting to see how Monahan responds. I would have liked to see him with Tkachuk, but the Backlund line has been real good with Tkachuk on it.

At the very least it gets him away from the tougher competition and will hopefully allow him to get some confidence.
