Nov. 13 update: Neuvirth has a lower body injury, reported as a sprained left knee, that is expected to sideline him 4-to-6 weeks.

Mason finally showed up

Hearing Raffl talk about how hard he took his undeserved healthy scratch truly infuriates me.

Wellllllll

This is the type of game they win. Lose to the trash teams and then squeak out a win against a decent team that gives a little hope... which will be dashed in the next game.

This isn't a "Haha look I called it" situation, it's a "god damnit this team is frustrating and predictable" kind of thing.

Good game and Masons best game yet... by far.

Thanks Steve.

I'm disgusted at VDV and Bellemare playing in that situation. They shouldn't be playing hockey at all, especially over Claude ****ing Giroux.

Mason with a good 3rd period. Maybe there's still hope...

Wow, Did anyone catch Bundys interview with Raffl?

Raffl was seriously pissed that he was scratched last night.

He should be, these guys aren't dumb. They see the players who suck and are given unlimited chances.

Raffl looks and sounds like he survived a war. He was intense in that interview.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes when he said he tried to use the scratch as a chance to learn and improve and get better and took it to heart. Yeah, he's the one who needed it. Guy comes to play every night and every shift, results be damned. :shakehead

The Flyers have one of the worst records in 5v6 situations in NHL over last few years... because they play bad players and collapse.

The teams with the best put out their best players and score half the time to ice game.

I honestly can't understand how Raffl or Lyubimov have been scratched even once this season. They have outplayed Bellemare, Vandevelde and Weise in every game. It literally makes zero sense.
