Hopefully he is open to any playoff team and doesn’t narrow it to a few teams

Sucks for Canadian fans but the $ differences are significant to the point it is hard to blame the player
He holds an 8 team MNTC, so he can easily put down all 6 Canadian teams, AZ and whichever other team he wants.

He has it in his contract, so up to him to exercise it.

South Alberta is just basically extended Montana, right?

Some of our craziest crazies live in Montana.......we gotta spread that wealth out........

True, Also, almost all of the oil, is up North, we are stuck with Canada.

8 Team NTL
Considering that he'll make 6 Canadian teams, I suspect that the list will be easy enough to work around.

This is getting absurd.

Flames fans - hopefully there is a bright side to all this….time to tear down everything you can and rebuild. Stuck with Huberdeau and Kadri for right now but you *could* get a ton of futures in return if you offload that entire crop of 2024 UFAs.

Then again, if interest in guys like Duclair is true - I’d be worried ownership will not let this rebuild happen.

LOL this offseason has been great

but probably a noghtmare for Calgary fans who dont deserve this

Oiler fans are dying over on their board
Oilers fans need to be careful. This is more about guys wanting to play in Canada just a matter of time. Don't like it but players seem to be dictating more these days.
