I do that all the time. People with helicopters hate me.
Hell, I'm doing it right now with slingshot and lazer pen.
Bond+Nolan=Good

“The film’s like Taken with Bond,” says the source, who adds that the suave spy is trying to avenge his wife’s murder.
Their is a rumor going around that Bond 25 will open with the death of Bonds wife which would be Madeleine Swann from Specter. Basically taking a page from Her Majesty's Secret Service's book.
That's how Diamonds Are Forever starts. On Her Majesty's Secret Service doesn't have a revenge plot in it, but his wife does die at the very end.

That was For Your Eyes Only where Bond picks up a wheelchair bound 'bald villian' with a white cat and drops him down a smoke stack.
It was never explicitly stated to be Blofeld though due to the legal issues over the Thunderball script (and Never Say Never Again)
The whole 'taking a page from On Her Majesty's Secret Service' I'm assuming is having Bond's wife die.
His wife being murdered would be so cliche and the obvious route. I hope they don't take the easy way out there.
I posted an idea on a Bond forum a while back that revolves around something similar though.
Basically, you have his wife be attacked at their wedding in the pre credits sequence.
Afterwards, it's revealed she isn't dead, but in a coma. Bond still goes on his rampage looking for revenge through the movie, but at the end, she wakes up. The kicker is: she has partial amnesia. She doesn't remember anything about their relationship. When she opens her eyes and sees Bond in her room, she asks who he is.
He pauses, a look of pain momentarily flashes across his face, then a wry smile. "A friend" is all he says, and the movie ends.
Perfect end to Craig's Bond. He finds happiness for a fleeting moment, has it all taken away, then makes the ultimate personal sacrifice to ensure that the person he loves (who doesn't know he loves her) isn't in danger because she's married to him. He's a service man, OHMSS, nothing more, nothing less.
There's no coincidence the two best Bond films were directed by Martin Campbell. I'd like to see him come back and direct a new one. Wouldn't mind Nolan but we're likely going to see Tom Hardy as Bond if Nolan sticks around as director and that's no bueno.
Nolan Bond would be amazing, but I'd rather Nolan give me another one of his own movies and not something from a universe he didn't create.
With that said, if and when Craig is done I think Nolan doing an origin story reboot of the Bond franchise would kick ass. It certainly worked with batman
Yeah I'd have to agree. Much as I'd love to see a Nolan Bond, the character's story absolutely doesn't need a reboot.Agree on your point about Nolan sticking to his own thing, but have to respectfully disagree about a Bond origin story (regardless of director).
The last thing this world (meaning the entire world, not just the Bond world) needs is more origin stories. It's the same rote beats over and over (regardless of franchise). Heck the ham-handed attempts to squeeze origin backstory/motivation into Spectre ruins what otherwise should be an entertaining movie. Casino Royale, to its credit, actually does a decent job without beating it over your head, but I don't need any more than what's done there.
James Bond is about the last fictional character we need to ask the question"Why?" of.
Just let him drink and carouse and kill and be cool. This is fun dammit.
While I agree that Hardy is one of the best working actors around, I don't know that beneath him really applies here. I mean what would be a better role for Hardy? Eddie Brock or James Bond?Tom Hardy just may be the best actor around these days. He could pull of Bond no problem. The role may be beneath him as an actor, to be honest.
Let Superman do it. He's handsome and English as hell. I also liked the idea of Idris Elba, who is a damn good actor as well.
Dany Boyle is out as director. Rumor is Christopher McQuarrie is the replacement.

Well I'm in total agreement that he could absolutely kill it as Bond.Yeah you are right. It's not beneath him. What I should have said is that he seems to take chances in the roles he chooses. James Bond would be the safest choice of his career since really breaking out. I would love to see him in the role of Bond because he would kill it.
I went overboard defending against the "no bueno" comment.

BronsonHardy wouldn't be able to mumble his way though Bond. I love the guy (mostly), but boy does he love characters who are borderline unintelligible.
