Man he was terrible on those two 3rd period goals the caps scored to clinch the cup. He probably still gets a contract somewhere but his play that period alone cost him years/money

People are only focusing on the finals because it's the most recent thing but he was horrible before too. In 14-15 he was probably the worst regular defender in the NHL and many Canucks fans were predicting he would be off to Europe. But Benning inexplicably gave him a 10M+ contract, proving once and for all that he has absolutely zero idea what is a good NHL defenseman. And now that that gift has came to an end, he might be finally headed overseas. Just 10 million richer. Or maybe he finds a marginal spot somewhere in the NHL.

Vegas picking him over Biega, who is actually a decent 3rd pairing guy, was really really dumb.
