Big events (>1000 people) could stay prohibited until March 2021, but our government has not taken a decision by now. This could be the end of the NLA as we know it.

Swiss government allows events with >1000 people from October on. But events need to have a permission and follow strict rules which will be determined.

2020/21 will be the last time the Swiss Hockey Cup will be played.

A maximum of two thirds of the capacity for hockey arenas

The NLA will start in october with a max. capacity of 2/3 of all seats filled. Standing areas will not be opened and there will be no tickets available for guest fans. There's not gonna be a ban on alcohol, but the consumption may face some restrictions due to corona measures. Sports games will get a permit from the government, not the cantons.

League is gonna start on October 1st. The schedule should be released around September 9th afaik. 2/3 of the seats will be filled, no away fans, and standing areas will be closed or getting equipped with seating.

So, season's gonna start on Thursday. It's gonna be a special year due to Covid19 with no relegation, maybe a direct promotion from NLB (if a team with a NLA licence wins) and pre-playoffs for the teams ranked 7-10 in the NLA.
