Hard to be sure, but the deal probably looks something like the long-speculated:

- Prospect not named Nemec or Hughes (probably Holtz)
- 1st Round Pick
- Roster player, likely Zetterlund or Sharangovich (more likely Zetterlund), or a second prospect not named Nemec or Hughes (likely Casey or Mukhamadullin)

I would imagine the hold up is actually the contract negotiations with Meier, because Fitz has been something of a hard-ass in those with Bratt and is likely repeating that with Meier, since whatever Meier gets will likely have to be matched dollar for dollar with Bratt.

According to Chris Johnson, there were 3 teams left in the mix for Meier as of last Friday:

- Vegas (dunno if the Dean for Barbashev trade means they're out)
- NJ
- Carolina

Blues did put 2 of their 3 2023 1st round picks in their package but were told they are out.

Price is 3 high end assets (1st and top prospects are considered top end assets).

NJ: 2023 1st, Shak, Holtz
Carolina: 2023 1st, 2024 1st, Morrow
Vegas: 2023 1st, Cormier, Brisson
