Sandin has had the best career out of anyone drafted after Beaudin, except for Romanov and Sharangovich (who went in the 5th round).

Just wondering how you had a guy with sub-par wheels ranked as high as you did.

The only players drafted after him that have had a better career are Alexandrov and Sharangovich. Neither were really on anyone's radar.

So who should I have had higher than Sandin?

EDIT: He was #51 on my board, so I guess must've seen him once. Regardless, I wasn't high on him.

I think you are overating the Vets. I would argue that a few of the prospects might be underrated. vlasic 3-4 and Philips 4-5 for sure. Ian hard to tell since he has not played.

Beaudin is now a prime candidate in o be traded...as he passed waivers, team that trade for him will have the ability to farm him out of needed

Anyone who covered Rockford online, even Courtney pointed to it. He seemed to have a terrible attitude last year and going from were are developing you in the NHL to AHL playoffs scratch is what happened to him because of it.

It's not like anyone ever wrote an article on it. Or has a quote. So what do you want? Ask Courtney her posts on it existed prior. There's probably random hard to find tweets or podcasts statements from guys who cover3e Rockford from Chris block to Mario Tribasi or whoever. There's no link to share to you dude

Beaudin + Kurashev

The reach for Beaudin didn't pan out. BPA on my board was Berggren who has lit up the AHL, followed by Sandin who has had a better career than Beaudin. If they made one of those picks instead, it'd have been a win.

Kurashev pick was good. Only successful player drafted after him is Sharangovich.

Didn’t Sandin play on a pairing with Boqvist too? It just made way too much sense to take him there but I also loved Beaudin’s skating at the time. It just never developed.

Having said that, I wasn’t high on Sandin. His skating was underwhelming. I liked Beaudin a lot because of his skating. I also really liked Veleno and Mattias Samuelsson.

We'll see how that attitude transforms in the French Canadian system.....low risk for both teams, more of another act of exorcism by Davidson to clean out the Bowman tenure......the Hillis guy is in line with the recent draft----good skater, high motor type.
