Laziness. Hastily thrown togetherThis is a weird press release. Maybe an old draft?
Only speaking of three years at St. Cloud and no mention of the Olympics. He had 7 goals in 2020-21 (last season), so that would have been his career high, but they're saying it's this season with six.
The way that the NCAA counts points and all that is that they keep it rolling. There's no difference between regular season and playoffs, so they might be looking at something different there.
Not world class.Laziness. Hastily thrown together
1 year keeps him as an RFA so more team control for us, i think 2-3 years would have made him a UFAPretty short for an ELC right? Guessing he wanted the 1 year deal at his age / stage of where he thinks he's at.
Signing Age* Years of ELC
18-21 3 Years
22-23 2 Years
24 1 Year
25+ No Limit & Not-Entry Level if drafted from North America
25-27** 1 Year if drafted from Europe or is a European player signing first NHL contract
*Signing Age is age on September 15 of calendar year in which first contract is signed, regardless of actual age when contract signed.
