Simply not true, i happen to ahve teh NYR 48 team up since I was using it to look at another thread and here is the list of the stars of that playoff team

Your argument might hold more weight in the mid 60's than in 48 but the same would apply to 2010 and 1996 as well.

Four of the Rangers from 1948 who played over 30 games were multi positional players- Watson, Colville, Leswick, Trudell. No Rangers had over 100 PIM or close.

Not likely that Kronwall is capable (offensively) of making a Karlsson like run.

Probably not but it would make the race really interesting.

As it is it's Weber to lose then Karlsson but it's hard to figure out what voters are going to think of him only playing less than 40 mins SH this year so far.

No idea on how this is relevant to the post I responded to.

My point is that there is little real actual evidence of more or less stars in all of the 06 compared to what Lidstrom played most of his minutes against.
