Curious for information on this Q player (Chicoutimi).
6'3" center, scored 40 points this season, and his PPG was actually very good from December onward after a slow start. However, right now he's only ranked #136 in NA by CSS.
What catches my eye is that it looks like he put up those numbers trapped as the #3 center in Chicoutimi behind Descharnais and Zagrapan, and with little PP time. When Zagrapan was away for a month at the WJC, Blanchard (presumably with a big spike in icetime) scored over a PPG.
For QMJHL watchers, is this a player a sleeper who would have received substantially more attention if he was receiving more icetime on a lesser team? Would you consider him a potential first-day pick?
