NHL Twitter-Who should I follow

As a huge NHL fan I obviously want the most up to date news. Today looking for info on Pierre-Luc Dubois led me to follow Aaron Portzline (who seems to be a respected Columbus beat writer). While I follow most of the obvious candidates (Bobby Mac, Dreger, Kyprios, etc). I would like fans of each team to tell me which beat writers in their market are worth a follow for up to date news on each franchise.

Thanks, def a bit of a tool and familiar with him, but will for sure add him due to the quality. I always thought he was a bit like Ottawa's version of Simmons.

You probably follow him, but since you didn't specifically mention, James Mirtle for Leafs is a good follow. Bonus for him is that your timeline doesn't become completely unreadable with pictures of random Canadian hockey teams at the end of the Junior/Midget hockey seasons.

Yes he's a canadien reporter , but the Avs coverage is so bad in Denver that Lavoie was able to scoop the local guys of Colorado

When Roy started French media really took over and has a lot of interest in the team, that still remains as we have a large contingent of prospects from the Q. Basically, Lavoie is enough, he will retweet anything that other reliable French journalists will. In my opinion, he's one of the best in the business.

I'd also follow TMV (@TMVHF), Tigervixxxen (@tigervixxxen) and Dario Ranzone (@DarioinDenver), who are posters here on the boards, but know a lot of what goes on with the Avs. They are all a much better source of info than any Denver Post journalist or Dater.
