So I'm torn. Outdoor games suck, but at the same time I inexplicably want one.

I think you're vastly over estimating the Canadian presence at this event... I also think if you're Canadian and at this thing you're really bad at reading the room if you boo the US Women's National Team at a game that is at a US Military Academy and being largely populated with US military members.


Can't imagine more Leafs fans here than when they were in the playoffs and that wasn't more than the typical away presence in a playoff game.

Meh..its the first gold medal for the US Women's Hockey team in 20 years, it took two decades of trying to beat Canada's women. They had to sit through 20 years of torment, pretty sure Leafs fans can sit through 20 minutes of a ceremony.

Is it? If that’s the case why set it up against a Canadian team, seems excessively dickish for an NHL event. I thought it was simply about military appreciation, which is why the Leafs based their jerseys off of the Canadian Navy uniforms.

Don’t lump us all in with that guy. An outdoor game with the extra exposure it will bring is a perfect time to honour them.
