We didnt have enough injuries to test him where they wanted. He performed ever chance he got.

I think this is the best sign we've had on how he's regarded. It's kind of hard to compare how they like someone who can't get into the lineup at NHL but can't be sent down, compared to someone who they can bury in AHL.

The only thing we really know now is that they value Leivo too much to want to lose him on waivers or expansion, and for all we know they see Rychel as a long-term AHL guy.

Losing one of Leipsic/Rychel is a bit of a drag, but perhaps there was something to that rumour about us persuading Vegas to take Fehr?

If not, I think they'll most likely take Rychel.
