National Hockey League Playoff Chances - Sports Club Stats

This website lists NHL playoff stats, and some things about it really interest me.

for example, Pens having under 1/4 chance of playoffs, and Flames down at about 22%. Edmonton has 3.7% chance as well.

How reliable is this site? What chance does your team have at the playoffs?

Doesn't mean much now tbh. A win streak or lose streak can alter the chances by 20 percent

All depends on hot and cold streaks, it does show you what type of crazy streaks need to happen for certain teams to hit the usual playoff mark. Odds look very slim for some already...

Ya, it doesn't take a lot with so much season left.
I don't worry too much until the 55ish game mark in most cases.

yeah, this early in the season it can change a lot
