EDIT: Oh no.... I'm watching the score, and the ticker at the bottom says...

"Lockout talks have broken off in New York".

I dont see this as being a positive sign. The closest thing to being a positive sign would be because they went in, gave them the proposal rundown, handed them the document, and broke off for the time being to rebuttle.

It doesn't sound good when you hear "talks have broken off after only 2 hours." However, you could consider that the League presented their proposal, and now the PA is going over it. A good sign would be if we hear nothing from the players for several hours. A bad sign would be if they come out trashing the League within the next half hour.
