NHL involved in CHL supplemental discipline

I'm pretty sure that's not right. Kaiser Branch wouldn't dream of letting anybody but himself handle something like that during his league's crown jewel event. They have a tournament discipline committee to review these things, and the fat man with the pubic lice in his moustache is the only vote that matters. If he's dragging his feet it's more likely because he needs his time in the spotlight before dishing out a penalty that will portray him as a pioneer of player safety.
If the NHL has any say at all they could have a rep on the committee, but why? If they do, he's a Branch stooge or crony anyway.
