So Bergeron crushes it to take 19th easy breasy after more than a decade of elite two way play. Continues to be one of the elite players of teh game and not slowing down. #20 is next looking like Couturier Schiefele O Reilly Barzal on deck here

That's false, you're clearly stat watching. Couturier was the best Flyers forward all playoffs, the entire team shat the bed offensively.

I did catch a few games and Hayes looked like the most dangerous forward to me.

Zibanejad is still underated it seems

71 Goals 78 Assists in 139 GP in the last 2 seasons

Heck that's 0.51 GPG. Ovie's career GPG is 0.61 and he is the greatest goal scorer of all time

I mean, ok if he was more one-dimensional ala Hoffman you could pass on him but he's among the Elite now.

Stone is not better than Couturier, sorry.

I'm taking Stone, Zibanejad and Schefeile before Couturier easily. Rantanen too. Huberdeau, Seguin, O'Reilly, Marner... many will need to be in the discussion

I live in Montreal, Flyers were painful to watch in general and Couturier was no different. Hope he was just injured (like Seguin) or you can expect him to start declining in the near future.

Yes, Hayes and Provorov looked the best to me, comfortably.

Regardless, judging guys in the return to play just is a mess. Everyone had the same shit to deal with but it wasn’t normal and shouldn’t be used to predict future outcomes.

Mitch Marner leads all options in points over the past 1 and 2 seasons, plays the PK and is at least average defensively.

He's the runaway choice here.

He's not but okay. Pretty sure Huberdeau has outscored him over that stretch as well. Plenty of options that are as good and better than him here.

Couturier for me, easy choice.

In no order the next group should be; Marner, Huberdeau, Scheifele, Stammer, Zibanejad, Rantanen, ROR

Very good options left:
Marner; 94 points in 2019, paced for 93 in 2020
Huberdeau; 92 points in 2019, paced for 93 in 2020
Rantanen; 87 points in 74 in 2019, paced for 80 in 2020
Stamkos; 98 points in 2019, paced for 95 in 2020
Scheifele; Consistent 80 point scorer, good counterman
Zibanejad; Best goal scorer remaining
ROR; Great two way center, who chips in 65-80 pts.

JT Miller..... over everyone listed?

:skeptic:
I want you to write me a lengthy dissertation detailing how wrong I am. Let’s say minimum of 10,000 words. I’d like this in my notification inbox by 12 noon tomorrow.
