Loosely based on EA NHL's Player rankings, you give the players who made your teams opening night roster rankings using these parameters.

90-100 = Elite of the Elite for any position
80-89 = First Line/Top Pairing/Starter
70-79 = Second Line/Second Pairing/Low End Starter-High End Backup
60-69 = Third line/third pairing/Backup
50-59= Fourth Line/7th-8th D/Third-Fourth String Goalie
0-49 = Minor league level

Then add the total up to the number of forwards, defensemen, and goaltenders to get a power level. For the Leafs, the maximum number of points their forwards could get is 1300 because they're carrying 13 forwards currently, while their defense can reach a maximum of 800 due to carrying 8 defensemen. If your team is carrying 14 forwards and 7 defensemen or however they do it, just take the number and multiply it by 100 to get the maximum total.

That's EA's rating system now? So I won't find Sam Gagner is 85 overall?
