I have to say, I really hate seeing all the sons of all NHLers drafted.
The NHL always was an old boys network, but the trend is that it's getting even worse. Pretty soon it's only going to be "2nd generation" players in the league.
It's awful to see these spoiled brats at the draft. And yes they are spoiled. They are sons of millionaires with access to all the pro facilities and knowledge.
How can anyone not root for the rare player who has normal hard working parents and doesn't have access to the best equipment and best training facilities and whose daddy isn't friends with most of the GMs or scouts? Do those players even exist any more?
Where's the Dislike button?
What could you possible disagree with? That the number of sons of NHLers are not increasing? That they don't have an unfair advantage over just normal kids whose parents aren't connected to the NHL?
I don't know, maybe you are just fond of rooting for kids born with silver spoons in their mouths.
