So the tie braker round saw the younger Theodore edge out the experienced Doughty. Alotta back in forth, not sure i a gree, but the majority do so is the way it is. He did play pretty dam impressive against the Canucks in the playoffs this past year, thought he really did a great job in both ends of the rink. Anyways will Doughty get the next spot, lets vote em up

I think it is time for Ekblad. He's been solid last few years. I understand that he isn't worthy of his 1OA pick status, but if you put that aside, he should at least be in consideration at this point of this poll.

Dahlin is #112th in icetime for defensemen despite playing for a team with no #1D or #2D ahead of him...

If he was the 16th best defenseman in the world already you'd think he would've been trusted to carry more of the workload?

I do think he'll become one of, if not the best defenseman in the NHL in a couple of years but ranking someone this high based on potential is ridicolous.

Make of that what you will, but Buffalo lost all of the 19 games in which Dahlin had the most ice time. One conclusion to draw perhaps is that they did trust him when trailing, but not when protecting a lead.

It really is incredible seeing his offensive impact given that TOI stat. I think this argument is actually in his favor.

Doughty hasn't been a top 20 (or even top 40) NHL D in a couple years now. Go ask a Kings fan.

Dahlin is not a top pair caliber D yet. All-world potential and nothing but potential.

Rielly has one year where he is an actual #1 caliber D-man. Every other year is a long list of excuses for his play.

This should be Werenski/Parayko/Ekblad.

I just can't vote for a guy as the 16th best D in the world that only plays an average of 19 mins a game. I'd start to consider him around 25.
