The Atlanta Braves, the defending World Series champions, need to fall in line next.

There's a solution that is easy as pie. The team should acquire the rights to the identity of the former NHL team Atlanta Thrashers, which would be used almost verbatim, with two changes - the hockey stick in the original Thrashers logo is changed to a baseball bat and the color Thrasher Ice Blue is now referred to as Thrasher Sky Blue.

Each uniform design used by the NHL team would be the basis for an alternate uniform used by the team. There would also be Capitol Copper and Peachtree Gold alternates.
