Welcome To The 20/21 Flyers Board NFL Mega-Mock Draft Reboot, ISOLATED PHASE! Part One!
We don’t know what hockey is going to be like in the new world, but it is safe to assume that any parts of it which resemble any parts of Earth Prime hockey will be incredibly pointless and stupid. So let’s add a football team and hope like f*** that it never becomes as stupid and pointless as hockey! WOO! Also, this satisfies our ABD cravings - Always Be Drafting.
The list of the positions we are choosing is below. Aside from the obvious No Duplicates aspect of drafting anything at any time, the only rule is that half of our players have to be Legends (can be alive or dead, but must have played professional football - the NFL kind, not real football as it is known to the rest of the world - and must no longer be doing so) and half of our players have to be Current professional football players of the North American variety. Otherwise, all the rules of time and order are the same as the regular Megadraft. Here are some notes:
Someday they will invent a Pursue the Pennant style game where we can play actual games against each other using these rosters, but we can cross that bridge when we burn the bridge to this bitch planet and head out for the Quackverse.

- FLEX (offense) - can be a RB, WR, TE, scatback, wildcat, stray cat, or Taysom Hill. This is not for a traditional QB - what I am getting at is that I don’t want QBs to be devoured by this spot so they aren’t available for someone to pick in their QB slot, you know what I mean? However, there have been very mobile QBs who you could pick for your FLEX if you want - they just won’t be lined up under center. There are too many skill guys to do that IMO, but I don’t want to hinder your creativity.
- FLEX (defense) - this is meant to cover any of the defensive positions (EDGE, IDL, LB, CB, S) so you have flexibility in which scheme you want to play on D. I don’t know that much in detail about schemes, but that’s the idea. You don’t really need to tell everyone your scheme, or even know what it would be, so don’t worry about it unless you want to.
- COACH - this won’t count against the Current/Legend total, so pick whoever you want.
- UNIFORM - you will be picking the professional football uniform, past or present, that you will wear. I imagine that most people have an NFL uniform they like, but as always, I want to leave it open to creativity. You could pick a CFL, USFL, etc. uniform if you want. College uniforms are OK, but don’t pick Oregon if your name doesn’t rhyme with “Bollywood.” I think we should use the same City/Nickname that we have for our main team in the Quackverse, or we could use the name of the team that wears the uniforms we will be wearing. Whatever is fine with me - to be honest, I just thought of this, so I’m not even sure what I want to do with mine. Let’s just play it by ear and be cool.
