That "blown call" doesn't change the fact that the Rams were asleep most of that game. Again teams have plenty of chances to beat the Patriots. They aren't invincible. The Patriots could have lost in the AFC Championship game. They didn't, largely because of the Chiefs and repeated errors.
In light of the changes to replay the league had to give examples of calls that would have been impacted. I ageee that they should comment on that Crabtree one.Did they ever go back and say they blew it when Crabtree was held on 4th and goal against the Ravens?
Point is, it doesn't matter. It's a judgement call they missed. Has happened in every other super bowl, too. There were plenty of other plays before and after that decided the outcome.
Also doesn't change the fact that the Rams were only in the Super Bowl because of a more egregious blown PI call.
that NFCC crew blew a lot of calls both ways, they'll just be remembered for the one, though
