Still amazed the NFL would allow the equivalent of Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe get tarred and feathered over this. My wife who graduated from BC law school and 'was' a big football fan said everybody can tell you Tom Brady the NFL marquee player is a cheater (without conclusive findings she added) but 99% wouldn't know Terrell Suggs poured bleach on his female partner

What a joke this sport is

Thank God Gronk lost out on the Madden cover to Beckham Jr. now that we know it's OBJ, he's become an avoid for fantasy football...

Spikes in, Chekwa out.

Chekwa is probably the most surprising cb cut we've made at least in my mind, considering he hasn't played for us yet. And Spikes could be a rotation player if Mayo or Hightower aren't healthy to start the year but I have a hard time seeing him earning a 4th lb spot on the roster (let alone active roster) over someone who can play special teams.

LOVE Spikes coming back. The front 7 just got downright mean. He's going hurt a lot of people with all the open space that'll get opened up.

The front 7 just got their Browner. Gonna have a different mind set and snarl

Are we switching to a full time 46 defense? Geez, another CB cut. They must have something up their sleeve or they really like this kid that they drafted in the 7th round.

Still have Butler, Fletcher, McClain and Ryan in addition to depth/special teamers like Roberts, Swanson and Green. We were overcrowded a week ago and cut 3 players from the bottom. No longer overcrowded, but no worse than we were. McClain and Fletcher could still be on the bubble too depending on how the younger guys look in camp. I did like Swanson last year.

I like Butler and Ryan and I think they have the stuff to be starting corners in this league. It's just about seeing those results happen.

Out of the three cut guys, I wish we still had Arrington. Above average slot and nickel guy, average to below average outside. But I thought he still had a solid place on this team, especially considering his time in the system. Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite us.

Think I've seen the back of Arrington's jersey more than the front.

4 mill cap hit for a slot corner is a waste of money

Gonna be really interesting to see this team's defense next year. The front 7 is going to be menacing, and I think it'll be good enough to mask the secondary quite well. Jones, Ninkovich, Brown, Easley are a heck of young and threatening front 4, with Sheard as the passrushing specialist (which I think is the underappreciated move of the offseason for them), Saliga and Branch (one of which I think will be cut) as the run stuffers. Signed Spikes to compliment stopping the run, will work well together with Mayo on run plays, and have Hightower and Collins in on the pass for both blitzing and coverage purposes. I think they are surprisingly well built next year despite looking nothing like what they had to win the Super Bowl.

Anybody else just laugh when Goodell said its part of his job to protect the integrity of the game and do what's right for the game.

What a freaking joke.

His seeking salvation via deflated balls for how badly he ****ed up the Hardy, Peterson, and Rice situations last season is as disgraceful as it is obvious. How people are falling for it is beyond me. This is clearly the wrong time to make a hard line stance, but that's what's happening. It's so insane that it's incredible.

I honestly believe that Goodell cannot be as stupid as he comes across and knows in this instance that whatever he gives Brady will get overturned in court. That way he can say he tried to "protect the integrity of the game", but it got tossed.
