I won't go that far, but I'd say the play reviews slow the game down a moderate amount.

I'm more so talking about the new rules regarding blocking home plate. Replay is alright but needs too be refined.

But when they get hurt, it's a serious injury. broken limbs and severe concussions and all kinds of crazy crap. I never even understood the point of why it was like that. You can't plow through the 2nd baseman to break up a play, why can you do it to the catcher? (and the reason has to be better than "that's the way it's always been" because that's not a real reason)

but before he got the ball he wasn't blocking anything because the runner wasn't there yet, it would be like blocking the plate just as the runner is rounding 3rd, it doesn't matter because the runner isn't there yet. Once the runner got there to try and slide, Navarro had the ball and was allowed to get inbetween the plate and the runner to tag him.
