Next Expansion Draft, rules?

Cant stop waiting for the NHL14 release in september.
This season is my mind fixed on a new organisation. Has not get decided where to place the new team. Halifax Huskies, Seattle Seals, Hamilton Tigers or Atlanta Eagles. We´ll see

Now to my "big Q":

Lets say there will be an expansion in the NHL.
Last time the teams (24 of 26, ex Atl and Nash) where able to protect:
Alt1) 1G+5D+9Fw
Alt2) 2G+3D+5Fw
( with some extra restrictions on the players left unprotected. 1d och 2F must have playes 40G last season for exampel )

What do you think about the next (?) expansion draft, is the rules set on outer variables with the salory cup we have in the NHL today.

Expansion Draft - My Picks!

I need your help to start my expansion team before the NHL14 release.
I am starting up the SEATTLE SEALS and use pretty much the same rules as NHL did in 200 when the expansion draft was held last time.
My picks is the first name on every team.

Looks pretty realistic except for Rundblad and Erixon. Theres no way columbus doesn't protect Tim Erixon. You should bring back the Quebec Jackals? unless they give you the otion of using the team name Nordiques

okej, i wont pick the swedish duo.
The key to keep playing dynasti mode is not to pick a winner from the start...it can not be to easy, have to get pissed a couple of season first and build the organisation.
