That's a touchy subject. But I'm one to think Eric deserves to get his number raised up to the raptors someday. He was a big part of the cup winning team and he has the most points as a Hurricane.

IMO it would be extremely foolish to give any player #12. That's saddling them with a legacy right out of the gate. If they stumble, now they're the guy wearing a superstar number and making it look bad.

And I agree that Eric should have his number raised.
