It better be for $1M. This is a guy who the Rangers have to be able to bury in the minors if he plays like he has the last 3 seasons.

Really only 2 bad seasons

9-14-23 in 47 post lockout for Hawks was not bad
Liked him as TML prospect at Vermont, and he even had a 20 goal season for CBH

Not sure why he flopped at Nashville, but under 2 different coaches, that is a red flag

He's been a productive player before. If he can do 15-15 and bring speed, it's a reasonable deal.

I don't get where he fits in, decent size but does he still have the speed? Anyone know if he can kill penalties? He doesn't see to be a 4th liner, good size but wanted some grit there.
