Rather than assigning letter grades (Difficult to read and follow, here is slightly different and more concise spin on things.
Top three forwards so far:
1. Nash (Obvious)
2. Brassard (solid and consistent)
3. Stepan (his worth is visible when he is not in the lineup)
Top three D men:
1. Klein (Early production has him looking very confident)
2. Girardi (better this year than last)
3. Staal (much maligned by many, but is still a good shut down defender)
Two (2) who have over acheived (exceeded expectations)
Klein and Nash would top this list, but I will go a little deeper down the roster:
1. Hayes (great prospect)
2. Hunwick (He should not be taken out of the lineup for John Moore ever again)
Two who have under achieved (slight disappointment)
1. Kreider (Need more production playing with Stepan and MSL
2. MCDonagh (has not been as consistent as we would liked/expected)
Two I expect to break out in 2nd half:
1. McDonagh
2. Zuccarello
