I did, about four/five years ago. My buddy and I planned the NY trip around the Habs game. It was just before MSG went through its major renovations, so I saw the place in all its dingy glory, with its old corridors and classic photographs, and the main arena's mauve and teal seats. Man... the events that have taken place there. We had a blast, joked around with a few diehard Rangers fans before and during the game. The ice has a weird yellowy tint, giving it a sepia tone that somehow fits the mood of an original-six arena, making it feel like we were back in the 1950s. The game itself was a blowout for the NYR, but the experience was cool. In addition to hockey, we managed to see three plays and a gospel choir. Expensive trip, but fun.
