Detroit improved, I think they're going to be our toughest competition in the division next season. I rank our division for next season as

2. Detroit
3. Montreal
4. Florida
5. Ottawa
6. Buffalo
7. Boston
8. Toronto

Honestly, 4-7 is a crap shoot. Any combination of those 4 teams wouldn't surprise me.

MTLoes Price have another career year? Does Kassian turn into what Vancouver fans have insisted he can be? Do they have a single damn injury?
DET:Yes, Mike Green is an improvement and definitely the one they need, but Zetterberg is due for back spasms or something, Datsyuk had ankle surgery for ruptured tendons and he has a 3 month evaluation period after his cast comes off. I think they're still going to make the playoffs this year, but see below.
OTT,FLA,&BUF: Young teams that have massively improved and I think one or both will be challenging for the 3rd seed at least. The only big question marks are in goal.
BOS:Lol.
TOR:I wonder when they'll be relevant again.

Oshie hasn't done anything in the playoffs. He will win them a few more shootouts though I guess. Capitals are just doing their usual grab every guy with a known name and hope it works. Not impressed.

More of a Backes fan to be honest, but for a guy that is so highly rated and is this Shoot Out specialist he has only scored over 20 goals once in his career.

The Metro is getting just loaded now with the Caps and the Pens making moves. The Pens D is still so bad that I don't see them winning the conference, but the Caps are a completely different story. If Burakovsky and Kuznetsov get going next year they will be absolutely filthy. Ovi, Backstrom, Burakovsky, Kuznetsov, Williams, Oshie, Johansson + their D-core which is already strong and Holtby establishing himself as a top 15 goalie in the league.

Honestly at the moment the Caps are looking like the real threat for us in the East. Detroit is pretty strong too, but gotta keep in mind that Z, Datsyuk and Kronwall are one year older next season again.

Yeah, I'd say 2nd biggest after Price (though neither are terrible in the PO they struggle when their teams start to struggle)
