Tedenby was one of my man crushes, I'll admit it. Even paid a few bucks for an autographed card. There are always a few guys who flame out that I always have a spot for. He's one of them.

I'm going to try and say this without being a jerk...

He scored 10 goals in 120 games. He couldn't score at all.

And just forget the 10 goals in 120 games. He only had 2 goals in his last 62 games in the NHL, and just one goal in his last 36 NHL games. And 4 total points in those 36 games.

His defense was awful, but if he were actually able to score more than 2 goals and 8 points over his last 62 games in the league, his poor defense wouldn't have been nearly as big of a problem. His biggest problem was that he was supposed to be an offensive player, but he didn't score enough offense. He barely scored any offense at all, over his final 62 games in the league. He actually produced the most when MacLean was the coach. He was on fire out of the gate, with 3 goals and 6 points in his first 7 games in the league. So his offensive production over his final 113 games was really frickin pathetic.
