That's some Fugly offensive lineup for the Devils. How do they score goals?

Schneider is their Price. He's not on Price levels, but he's found himself in the top 5 league wide for a reason.

I still cant believe the Canucks let him go

Pay attention to Palmieri. He's one of those "30 points in under 14 minutes guys" who has blossomed this season with an expanded role and proper linemates. A proxy for what Galchenyuk could be doing if they weren't so invested in making him "hungry" and a "better person".

Therrien's idea of accountability in the midst of a 4-12-1 run: scratch a third liner.

Ruff's idea of accountability in the midst of a 2-5-0 run: bench Seguin and Benn in the third period of last night's game and split them up in practice.

Therrien doesn't belong in any conversation where Ruff's name comes up...Ruff has been coaching for over 20 yrs...and knows what he is doing...Therrien on the other hand, is kinda bi-lingual...;)

This.

Therrien calls out his best players without naming them, during his post-game scrum yesterday and then follows that up with benching ... Fleischmann?

DSP claims he was upset about not being in the lineup for the Winter Classic, claimed he now knew what was expected of him, even had a meeting with Therrien about it and came out flat during yesterday's game. No consequence.

Pacioretty with a recent declaration to reporters that there would be "consequences" should the team not change its ways. The consequence? Fleischmann gets benched. :laugh:

Fleichmann is not alone in terms of subpar performances, but the fact that he is such an easy target, a guy on a one-year deal who may not have a future with the team next year, who was one of the last players to make the team -- that's rather cowardly and doesn't cause one dent to this rather complacent bunch.

Therrien will not sit Pacioretty, Subban or Plekanec, all of whom have been putrid. However, there are others with greater standing on the team than Fleischmann who could have been sat. The fact that they weren't, says something about Therrien.

That he's a cowardly bully? We've known this since he was on AC trashing Eller for no reason then benching him his first game as coach.

Maybe thats why MB wont fire him, he's got some dirt on MB and MB is afraid that if he fires him, MT will expose his dirty secrets.

If Therrien was a decent coach, he'd bench Pacioretty and/or Plekanec if we're losing tonight in the third period to really send a message.

But he's not a decent coach. He's an idiot who has his job because of who he's friends with and the language he speaks. So Patches, Plek, Markov will continue to carry on unscathed. Some "consequences"...

In the next 6 games I expect a 1-4-1 record at best.

Devils
Pens
Hawks
@Blues
@Hawks
Bruins

Expecting a Schneider shutout or maybe 1 Habs goal and a loss again for the listless Habs tonight.
