So the Devils injury luck has been pretty bad. Horrible, to be more accurate. So far, they have Schneider, Bratt, Stafford, Zajac, Lovejoy, and Santini all get injured 6 games into the season, aside from Schneider who is recovering from offseason surgery, and I believe we had an injury scare with someone else a couple games ago.

Has anyone else’s injury luck been this bad so early in the season?

Flyers have lost JvR, Nolan Patrick, Andrew MacDonald, Michael Raffl, Corban Knight, and Michael Neuvirth so far. Patrick is back in the lineup now though.

that isnt really that bad compared to around the league

we started the year off without edmundson and gunnarson (still out)

fabbri is injured every time he goes near the ice

and we are pretty lucky this year compared to usual, shockingly schwartz has only missed one game so far

Not really that bad. A bunch of depth players and Schneider.

Meh, every team has to deal with injuries at some point. Deal with it.

Every team goes through injuries. How many games do the Pens lose Crosby, Malkin, and/or Letang for every season?

Most of our injured players were problematic prior to being hurt.....
Cory lost 13 straight last year (I really don’t know how we made the playoffs)
Lovejoy/Santa suck
Stafford being hurt makes us better

Trav and bratt suck, but both should be back by next week. Closer up mods

Calm down, friend. The Sens, Blues, and Ducks have been worse in terms of injuries. Bratt and Zajac are bigger losses but everyone else isn’t worth it. And the Pens have lost their best defenseman.

Anaheim and Boston were terribly affected by injuries last season.

This season Boston has some issues as well. Not great luck. McAvoy out recently; Backes; Krug; Miller, are some good players.

Bratt and Zajac aren't just depth players.
Zajac is at best a very mediocre second line center. A pretty good 3rd line center way past his prime though which was back in 2010 or something.
Bratt the same. At best a second line winger, probably 3rd line winger but nothing special at all at least not yet.
