Hi all,

I would like to talk here about cities in Russia that don't have at the moment a team in KHL, VHL or MHL, but are planning or might think about creating in the future a hockey club.

Aspects like local interest, having or not having an arena, infrastructure, economic climate and others are more than welcomed.

So let the thread begin!

There's already a topic on this, called KHL Expansion.

Yes, but I don't think it's fair for people who are looking for facts, to see questions like a team in Arkhangelsk for example (since there's nothing at the moment).

Arkhangelsk is a town on the White sea, with a population more than 4 times higher than Khanty-Mansiysk, but with interest mainly in bandy.

So there are some plans to have there a proper hockey club, able to play in a couple of years in MHL/VHL/KHL?

Sorry, but this thread is redundant.
Thread for KHL Expansion already exists.
