Zinetula Bilyaletdinov officially announced that he wouldn't coach Team Russia at the 2005 World Championship (link in "Russia" section).

I think most Russian fans will agree that this is good news, but the question is : who will replace him?

And here we go again ...

Two things are certain :

1- Vladimir Plyushev and Vladimir Yurzinov will be part of the coaching staff. Last week, Sovetsky Sport reported that Dynamo Moscow's Vladimir Krikunov could be named head coach ... but that's only a rumor.

2-Ilya Kovalchuk will play at the Worlds.
