Interesting i have 6 of the 9 in my keeper pool. Some have some baggage or shortcomings that may impact each one to not be the player they could otherwise become. Here is my opinion.
Michalek- If he doesnt substain another major he should be the best of the bunch.
Barker- Known to be lazy at times but even with mono had a solid last season.
Schremp- Pure goal scoring talent that is dying to show the critics wrong. PP
specialist. Frankly i like his swagger. Has a chance to be Londons goto guy
this yr.
Radulov- I liked him in the Russia-Qmjhl series. I like his cockyness also. Plays with
passion.
Wheeler- I think he showed signs last season as to what Phx was thinking as to his
upside. Hard to grade kids still in high school.
Ladd- Had a dissapointing season but picked it up some in the playoffs. How much
of his success was Getzlaf responible for? This season should answer some
of the doubts about him. Like to see him in the Ahl.
Tukonen- I honestly dont have a glue about this guy. Has loads of talent, as
witnessed at his Wjs showing. Hard to get points in the finnish top
league.
Korpikoski- See Tukonen. Would like to see these kids in the Ahl.
Thelen- Major dissapointment last yr but a couple yrs in the ahl cant hurt.
