Ned is looking good in GR with a shutout right now. Husso is still struggling with rebounds and what not and Cossa has not transitioned to pro hockey very well yet. What is it with the Wings and goalies? Ozzie is the last goalie they drafted that starred and Howie did pretty well for a while but was never quite at an elite level. It's puzzling how many they've drafted in the past 10 years that have gone no where. Goalie Gods please change that for us....please !!!

Husso’s been good.

If Ned were the best goalie in the org, he’d be in the NHL.
This.

With all the blown coverage and odd man rushes given up in the first two periods of last nights game, the score could've been 8-0. His rebound control needs improvement, but so does the Wings defense around the crease to help him out in goalmouth scrambles.

If you’re blaming Husso for the game last night then your blame is entirely misplaced.

If Ned comes back from GR with renewed confidence then great! We need both goalies playing well to be successful. Ned has a lot to prove right now though.

Howard was great for us in his 1st and 2nd season. I believe he was a top 5 or top 10 goalie.
Husso has been ok or slightly better than ok.
He gives up a soft or softish goal too often IMHO.

But the team plays bad in front so it's hard to assess the goalies.
I think the coach does not use them properly.

Even if Ned is the best goalie in the system right now, two facts emerge:

1. Being the best goalie on the red wings isn't some high water mark.

2. The gap between Husso and Ned right now is so small that it doesn't really matter whose better, neither are good.

New shiny toy was Ned for the first half of last season.
New shiny toy was Husso for the first half of this season.
Now they just keep the .902 SV% goalie on the "pedestal", cause they think this team is "improved"

Timing is everything.

What is Nedeljkovics record in the AHL? He won all his games?
Nedeljkovic played very good when he arrived, but got exposed quickly behind the best defence.
