I think the only way the Canes would trade Necas to Detroit is in a package for Larkin.
Larkin will cost you arm and leg. Necks only prospect who has connections to Zadina.

There’s no need for CAR to trade Necas. He projects as a playmaking top 6 C, which is exactly what they need. He’s certainly not worth Larkin, at the moment, but there’s absolutely no motivation to move him unless it’s for a similar type player. I don’t see anything outside of Larkin or Zadina that would interest the Canes if they’re giving up Necas so not really good trading partners with those pieces.

Who said he was fetching Larkin?

Carolina needs a developed Necas more than any Detroit asset that isn't Larkin. There isn't a worse organization for him to be in, if you're a GM looking to buy. I mean, the Canes are in desperate need of a skilled Top 6 forward, preferably at center. They badly need him to pan out.

Let's be realistic, Detroit is still probably getting a top 10 pick in this draft.

And it's a draft chocked full of centers. Necas is a great prospect, Detroit can probably get as good if not better where they'll be picking, and they wont have to fork up assets to do it.

We can speed up our bounce ,because he is already 20, I doubt he will be better than Veleno, but I was thinking about Zadina, proposing this trade, and we can give them Svechnikov + 3rd rounder, something like that

I'm not sure if you're proposing Zadina + Svechnikov + 3rd for Necas or just Svechnikov + 3rd.

... It matters only to determine which team laughs and hangs up.

What a silly ask. Two mediocre teams near the bottom of the East, and you're asking for a top prospect, not a change-of-scenery swap?

why isn't Necas call back already ? the kid is destroying the AHL
Anyhow, Necas > Zadina. But if you can bring both together it would be amazing for Detroit.

I can only see Mantha + pick being delt for Necas, but again, Carolina needs centers..
Anthanasiou + Nyquist + 1rd protected for Necas ?
