Who are the "undrafted" players to watch this year in college hockey?

Any hidden gems/late bloomers the scouts will be watching?

1. Those still eligible for the draft (89-87)

2. Overagers who will be looked at as potential FA signings (86+)

Todd McIlrath at Bowling Green.

Only 5'9" at best, but pound for pound one of the most skilled players I ever saw when he was coming up through minor and junior hockey.

The new game is tailor-made for a player like this.

Steve Rolecek for Harvard. Not the greatest size, but the attitude and strength to succeed. Didn't see a whole lot of time as a freshman, look for him to advance this season.

Any relation to Billy Sweatt? He's also going to CC, and is really a guy to have your eyes on. Could be a first rounder(he's a late 88). Also, James O'Brien(born in 1989, is accelerating) is a great prospect for the 2007 draft.

Manno and Dingle are both juniors next season. How Dingle is affected by the absence of Paul Stastny will be an interesting story to watch.

Bryan Lerg from MSU and Matt Martello from LSSU.

Coincidentally, Lerg, McIlrath and Motherwell (see above) all played together on the 86 Honeybaked team, which was perhaps among the 5 best bantam teams I've ever seen.
