A AHL team seems like the most likely tenant. If the predators are involved directly. There is no reason they would have interest in an echl franchise.

Exactly where in that 35-ish word post does it say any team is moving?

Bold faced and underlined it for your reference. That would be a rumour especially since the arena aint built and no one knows if it would even meet any professional league standards.

Also, how many of the AHL franchises have had a longer relationship than the one between Milwaukee and Nashville? Hartford, Providence, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton are the only ones that come to mind being as long as the Nashville/Milwaukee relationship.

… it's not affiliated hockey, and more likely than not, there's the risk of the team struggling from the gate, but could SPHL hockey work in this new arena? The local rivalries with Knoxville, Birmingham, and Evansville (though Evansville is not as easy to get to as I'd like to claim from Clarksville) would help.

Saying a scenario seems the most likely does not imply. I had any knowledge of anything or was starting a rumor about a team moving.

Clarksville was kicking around the arena idea somewhere in the 15-20 years ago range, with Central league interest at the time. A Predators AHL club in the vicinity would be successful.
