Well since my preferred pick didn’t win yesterday I’ll go Fisher again for 2F. It’s a 2 horse race for best D but given Josi’s Norris season this year I think he has finally edged Weber out. Was actually surprised to see how close the two are in GP for us too.

Legwand and Josi.
Those were my picks too. It might be possible to argue Weber and Josi on track record to date, but I don't see much point in making that argument when we can safely predict that 8 more years of Josi will see him take it absolutely uncontested.

Love Leggy but just would feel so bad franchise wise to have an all time 1st line center whos scored more than 50 points in one season just twice. I went the on ice route and voted Arnott. Defence was easy selecting my all time favourite player Weber.

Forsberg and Josi for me, it was close with Weber but after thinking more, got to go Josi.

Went with Forsberg because he's not a passenger, he drives the line he's on.

Went Sullivan and Weber.

I think Sullivan was easier to pick for me, he was PPG right up until his injury.

Really hard choice on D though, in my mind and in a perfect world, Weber should have 2-3 Norris'. There's a good argument to make that Shea was the best defenseman in the sport for a few years. Josi is right up there and I think with another season like this one he'd pass Weber in my eyes.

Can you just put Rinne in as the Team A goalie, and Vokoun for Team B? I don't think you really even need to go to votes for this???? :dunno:

You know, Weber has no Norris, no Cup or no Con Smythe. But otherwise he’s got HOF stats.
I mean he’s like 18th or something all time in goals and only about 30 goals shy of the top 10. And we know he could play pure D like nobody’s business for a long while with a very mean streak.
Had he been in a traditional NHL market people would hold him in awe.
Josi is very good but has got some more to do to pass Weber and I hope he does. But Weber, for a few years, was the total package. Preds were fortunate to have had him.
