I like what they're doing. Season ticket prices are back year one prices...and season ticket holders that kept their account active( a pretty high percentage...85, I believe) during the lockout will receive a free jersey and have their names engraved on to a puck on the "wall of fame."

other highlights:

special pricing on weekday games
concessions promotions for weekday games
a free pre-season game

I'm pretty impressed with the efforts. A good read, if anyone is interested.

I could be wrong but I read somewhere that not only would they get jerseys but they would be signed jerseys.

Secondly, free popcorn on Tuesdays, how can you pass that up? :yo:

I heard Leopold on the radio today. He mentioned the "free popcorn" Tuesdays, "$1 hotdog" Thursdays, and a return to all of the marketing stuff of the first few seasons.... (i.e. more silly games & prizes during stoppages in play). He said that weeknight games would be $5 to $10 cheaper than weekend games... now that's pretty cool!

I can't wait for the puck to drop!

I like the part where an unemployed country musician will come over and play music on your birthday. Now that's something you can't get in major markets!
And in Atlanta, they'll get players to drive you over to Buckhead for a night in the clubs.....
